Do you need a Funeral Celebrant?
A Funeral Celebrant is an individual who conducts funeral services with compassion, dignity, and respect, tailored to the wishes and beliefs of the deceased and their family. They provide a personalized and non-religious alternative to traditional religious ceremonies, allowing families to celebrate the life of their loved one in a way that reflects their values and preferences. There are some people who will want a quiet and solemn funeral, whereas there are others who will want to truly celebrate the life of the one who has passed. The benefit of working with me as your celebrant is that there is no “right or wrong” tone for the funeral – it’s whatever you need it to be.
Family and Friends
Various members of the family may want to read prayers, poems or simply tell stories by way of a eulogy. As your celebrant, I’ll help to ensure that every element of the service is coordinated. I’ll also have a copy of everything that is going to be said, so if speaking becomes to overwhelming for anyone, I can step in and see that the funeral service continues as planned.
